You are invited to join the Central/Southern Illinois Synod of the Women of the ELCA for its Biennial Convention on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Decatur.
Our theme is "I am Worthy," based on Psalm 139:14a.
“I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”
When: Sign-in opens on-site on Sept. 19 at 8:30 a.m., and the program begins at 9:00 a.m. We will close with worship, led by Pastor Amy Ziettlow, and you’ll head home by 3:00 p.m.
Where: Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3778 North Water Street, Decatur
Cost: $25 per person, includes breakfast, lunch, and all activities.
Program: We will elect members to the C/SIS WELCA board, hear from our churchwide representative, enjoy a skit performed by the WELCA board, shop Fair Trade, and more.
